HTTPS://GAMINGNITEMARE.COM I am a chill guy who loves to write about my passion: video games. I love all genres of games, but I prefer RPGs and fighting games.

There are no shortages of RPGs as of late and Xbox Game Pass has plenty. Even before Microsoft acquired Bethesda studios, Xbox Game Pass still had a lot of RPGs to choose from. But now the catalog has expanded with many RPGs that offer hundreds of hours.

Not everyone has plenty of time for multiple games and may only want to choose one. That’s where I come in to help you.

RPGs come in different subgenres, like third-person or first-person, fantasy or post-apocalyptic, and anything in between. …

Why Are RPGs popular? There are multiple reasons for that. Maybe it’s the characters, the world, or the illusion of choice.

Well, this will be the first in a series of articles about why are RPGs popular.

Role-playing games (RPGs) have always been a popular genre in gaming. Lately, games have been adopting many RPG elements, such as loot with different rarities, skill trees, and the illusion of choice.

One franchise that comes to mind is Assassin’s Creed.

It has become an entirely different game than it used to be. …

A Cyberpunk 2077 sequel? After the blundered launch of Cyberpunk 2077, there is no way CD Projekt Red can mess up twice. The next game will go down as one of the greats because it has to, for CD Projekt Red’s sake.

Cyberpunk 2077 Launch Blunder

First, let me give you the quickest rundown of the Cyberpunk 2077 launch. If I tried to break down the whole controversy, I could turn it into a book that would give Harry Potter a run for its money.

8 years… 8 long years people were hyped for Cyberpunk 2077. This was the game that was meant to…

Let’s cut straight to it. In this post, I am going to show 16 valuable Outriders tips that will make your progress, in the beginning, go a lot smoother.

Some of these Outriders tips aren’t discussed in the game at all, leaving the player to figure it out themselves.

That where I come in to help you sail through the opening hours. Ready!? Let’s go!

One quick thing, be sure to check out my Devastator build, I will be updating it as I get further equipment. This page has some small Outriders tips as well.

This morning Microsoft’s $7.5 billion acquisition of Bethesda has been finalized and completed. With this deal final, we also got some news and a quick video by Microsoft showcasing Bethesda’s long gaming history. You can watch the video at the bottom.

As I said we got some news as well. But before I head into that, let’s look at all the developers Microsoft acquired from this massive deal.

Alpha Dog Games

Arkane Studios (Dishonored Series, Prey)

Bethesda Game Studios (Fallout Series, The Elder Scrolls Series)

Id Software (Doom Series)

MachineGames (Wolfenstein Series)

Roundhouse Studios

Tango Gameworks (The Evil Within Series)

This is a very common question when it comes to MMOs, especially ones that have been going on for years. The Elder Scrolls Online has been doing relatively well for almost 7 years now.

The Elder Scrolls Online is releasing the beginning of its year-long story very soon, followed by the Blackwood expansion. Meaning an influx of new players and new content. So should you play The Elder Scrolls Online in 2021?

Short answer… YES.

Long Answer… continue reading.

I just started playing The Elder Scrolls Online around a month and a half or so ago. So I am a…

Aftermath is the first-ever expansion in the entire Mortal Kombat series. Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath brings an exciting new story expansion, quality of life updates, augment changes, and more stages. More importantly, Aftermath also includes 3 new fighters. Fujin and Sheeva are returning fan-favorites. One crazy inclusion is the 80s action icon Robocop.

You can also check out my original Mortal Kombat 11 Review before continuing.

Chillin’ Like A Villain

The story of Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath picks up immediately after the events of the original story. The story is shorter than the original, because of this, things move along quite fast. I think…

Some things just exit the mind and never returns… until it does again. Everybody has that old love that just dies out, but somehow just comes back into your life. The relationship was great but somewhere down the line both of you end up having a falling out. You don’t see each other for years and then BAM, something hits you deep in your heart. You decide to give it a try again and you fall in love all over again.

Yes, a lot of have been there. It can be rocky, but sometimes it is all so worth it…

Doom Eternal takes everything that was in Doom 2016 and amps it up by 10. Within the first few minutes, the game sets the tone with head-banging music, crisp graphics, and reasons to rip and tear. Doom Eternal is a game that doesn’t take itself seriously and is just giving the player a reason to demolish and brutally kill demons with graceful movement and fantastic gameplay. I honestly can’t think of one bad thing about the game. Battlemode is the weakest link of the Doom Eternal, but it does have its moments. …

If there is one word that I can describe the Ori series, that word would be beautiful. Ori and the Will of the Wisps is the mesmerizing follow-up to Ori and the Blind Forest. Moon Studios created another amazing game filled with heartfelt moments, gorgeous environments, and an upgraded combat system. It also comes with plenty of secrets, challenges, and bigger boss fights.

*Note: Be sure to check out some of my general and combat tips.

Journey To Save A Friend

Ori and the Will of the Wisps take place a little bit after the last game. With Ori and his small group of friends…
